Glasses and earrings in the same look
Treat your frames as part of your everyday look. Explore their relationship with earrings through a small comparison.

Include the frames in your choice
When you put on your everyday glasses, the frames appear alongside your clothes and jewellery. Include them from the beginning when choosing earrings. Look in the mirror wearing a familiar top and a favourite pair. Describe the frame itself: fine, pronounced, rounded or angular. These words describe an object, rather than judging your face. Notice how the glasses and earrings feel together at first glance. If you don’t wear glasses daily, explore the idea with sunglasses and an outfit you actually wear with them. Use pieces you already own.
Repeat the line or change it
Rounded frames and small hoops can share a curve. More angular frames beside softly shaped earrings create a different relationship. Try two pairs of earrings with the same glasses, keeping your hair and top unchanged. Pronounced frames don’t automatically call for small earrings. You may enjoy two strong lines together, or prefer a quieter detail. There is no requirement to repeat the frame colour exactly in the jewellery. Give an unfamiliar pairing a few minutes before deciding. A combination can feel new simply because you haven’t worn those familiar pieces together before.
Remember the view from the side
Look slightly from the side as well as straight ahead. The glasses arm, your hair and the earring can create another arrangement there. If you keep moving your hair, return it to its usual position and choose from there. If you often take your glasses off and put them back on, try that ordinary movement. You may prefer a pairing that needs little attention. Avoid ranking the versions with and without glasses as better or worse. They can belong to different moments. Record one observation about the pairing you enjoyed today.
